Privacy policy.

Last updated: 20 May 2026. This policy covers daintytrading.com and how we handle information you share with us.

Who we are

Dainty Trading is an AI automation studio based in Australia. We operate daintytrading.com and a portfolio of AI software products. Our contact address is [email protected].

What data we collect

Contact form

When you submit the contact form at /contact.html, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Company name (optional)
  • Engagement type (selected from a dropdown)
  • Your project description (free text)

We also record a form-load timestamp (used to detect automated bot submissions) and check a hidden honeypot field. Neither is stored beyond the submission event.

This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any marketing list without your explicit consent.

Analytics

We use Umami, a self-hosted, open-source analytics platform. Umami is cookieless — it does not set any cookies in your browser and does not track you across sites. It collects page views, referrer, device type, and country at an aggregate level. No personally identifiable information is collected or stored by Umami.

Umami is hosted on our own infrastructure in Australia. No data is sent to third-party analytics providers.

How we store and use data

Contact form submissions are delivered to us via Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), a transactional email platform. Brevo processes your submission to deliver the notification email to us and the confirmation email to you. Brevo’s privacy policy is available at brevo.com.

We do not operate a database on this marketing site. Your contact form data is not stored in any database we control beyond what Brevo retains for email delivery (typically 30 days of transactional logs).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as described above (Brevo for email delivery).

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies. Our analytics platform (Umami) is cookieless by design. No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or persistent identifiers are used.

Australian Privacy Act 1988

Dainty Trading operates in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Under the APPs, you have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Request deletion of personal information we hold about you
  • Complain about how we have handled your personal information

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

GDPR (UK and EU visitors)

If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, the following applies in addition to the above.

Legal basis for processing: We process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to a project enquiry you initiated). We do not process data on the basis of consent for marketing purposes.

Data transfers: Your contact form data is processed by Brevo, which is headquartered in France and operates under GDPR. Brevo acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement.

Your rights: Under GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected].

This site contains links to external websites (GitHub, product domains, tool documentation). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing personal information.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our contact form, please contact us so we can delete it.
